Welcome to Season’s 52, located in Buckhead. A very busy establishment not only on the weekends but throughout the week as well. This comes as no surprise since the service is impeccable and the food is great. I’m here for a media tasting with some of my blogger friends.
I arrive to have my car valeted and enter into the restaurant. There is a wait and it’s packed with patrons. I let the hostess know that I am here for a tasting and waiting for the rest of my party.
After the ladies arrive, we are escorted to our table. We are soon greeted by our waitress and offered a drink menu. I am very familiar with their new Old Fashioned and I order it. The ladies decide on their drinks as well. The drinks arrive and I’m so excited about what is in front of me. The dark caramel color that encompasses the Old Fashioned
followed by the sweet dark cherry and the rock candy. I take a sip, only to remissness on how delicious this drink is.
We chat a little and before we know it our waitress has returned to discuss our menu options. We decide to order a few starters that we can share. I decide on the Tomato Flatbread, the ladies order Stuffed Mushrooms, as well as a Spinach and Brussel Sprout Dip. The food arrives and of course pictures have to be taken of all of the colors that are on the table. We dig in and as expected, everything is perfect. The Flatbread with its crispy edges and sweet juicy tomatoes. The Stuffed Mushrooms, juicy with every bite topped off with Crab and Shrimp.
We move onto the entrees. The ladies are having the Scallops and the Boneless Short Ribs. I decide on the Mountain Trout that had Roasted Carrots and Smashed Potatoes in tow. The fish is cooked and seasoned to perfection, the carrots fresh and sweet. We finish off the meal and head on into desert.
But wait, our server has informed us that we will be graced by the head bartender with some samples of their signature drinks. Austin arrives with 4 different drinks that he begins to educate us on. We try each one and the contrast between them all is amazing. Flavors coming at you from many angles.
It is now time for desert. A trey of 6 to 7 small sweet bites arrive. I thought it would be a good idea to try all of them. A small bite to see which one my taste buds would favor. The carrot cake being my favorite with them all being absolutely delicious.
We are now coming to the conclusion of our evening. Many pictures have been taken and memories of flavorful food captured. Many thanks to our amazing server Brittany and to Austin for the flavorful and interesting drinks, and a special thank you to Kristin Dobrow the Associate Brand Manager for the restaurant.
Please head on over to Season’s 52 for a great dinner or stop in for their happy hour of great eats that goes on for several hours.
